To mark our 70th anniversary, we celebrate this timeless value by blending artisan mastery with the strength of contemporary art. From this vision, our Walcor Artistic Egg was born: a unique, vibrant, and celebratory work, created from the creativity of young talents who reinterpreted our brand and the most iconic elements of our identity.
The winner of the competition is Sofia Fresia
With her oil painting, through which she portrays celebration, sharing, and fun. Drawing on cocoa beans and cocoa flowers, the artwork offers a visual echo of the surprise inside, like a dive into imagination and into the brand's positive values. The hand-drawn decorations, created with great passion and care, represent cocoa flowers in their modern version, alongside the classic flowers in their timeless version.
Discover who the artist is winner of the competition
Sofia Fresia (Genoa, 1992) studied at the Accademia Albertina in Turin, where she now lives and works. Her painting draws mainly on the iconographic world of swimming and takes the form of surrealist-inspired works. Through vividly colored paintings, the artist suggests a less gray and more positive interpretation of today, an invitation to see a glimmer of light even in these uncertain times.
