Pernigotti SpA launches a new product line inspired by the great Disney classics: Pinocchio, The Aristocats, Peter Pan and other timeless characters
Pernigotti SpA has reached an agreement with The Walt Disney Company to create new products for adults inspired by some of the most beloved Disney animated films of all time. For the autumn-winter season, the historic confectionery group based in Novi Ligure (Alessandria) is preparing elegant tin boxes and colourful Pernigotti-branded gift packs, containing assortments of pralines or torroncini, dedicated to great classics such as Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, The Aristocats, One Hundred and One Dalmatians and Peter Pan.
Starting in October, the new Pernigotti products featuring these five prestigious licences will hit the shelves. In particular, 320g gift boxes with Gianduiotti, Cremini and Mini Pepitas will be available in The Aristocats and Alice in Wonderland designs. Also in the works are 190g metal tins containing Scrigni chocolates with soft pistachio and tiramisu fillings, dedicated to One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Alice in Wonderland, The Aristocats and Pinocchio. The range is further enriched by 80g Medallions of the finest milk chocolate, embellished with graphic motifs from Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. Ahead of Christmas, 130g ballotin boxes will also go on sale, containing soft coated and citrus torroncini dedicated to Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan.
“With the Pernigotti for Disney project, we chose to pay tribute to the titles that made the history of animated cinema, the ones no one can ever forget,” said Stefania Distefano, Commercial Director Confectionery Italy at Pernigotti SpA. “Five timeless stories, five characters that have enchanted entire generations, reinterpreted with the unmistakable character and quality of Pernigotti chocolate, in a sensory journey dedicated to adults who have never stopped dreaming. The excellence of Pernigotti chocolate thus meets the elegance of Disney masterpieces. The art of confectionery and auteur cinema, finally together.”
